Since 2008, Dr. Meta has been the suggested dentist of the U.S. Embassy in Argentina. About a third of his patients live outside Argentina or are stationed here temporarily.
Credentials
Dr. Meta has passed both parts of the National Board Dental Examination administered in the United States — Part I in 2007 and Part II in 2021 — the same standardized examination U.S.-trained dentists are required to pass. That formal credentialing is paired with three years spent living and training in Columbus, Ohio (2004–2007) as a graduate researcher at The Ohio State University, which means he understands not only the clinical standards American patients expect, but how they prefer to be communicated with.
Recognition
Dr. Meta is the suggested dentist of the U.S. Embassy in Argentina for U.S. citizens and Foreign Service personnel stationed in the country, and also treats patients from multinational companies and long-term expatriate residents of Buenos Aires.
The office is in Palermo, Buenos Aires (CABA) — a central, walkable neighborhood well served by taxis and rideshare apps, convenient for both residents and short-term visitors staying nearby.
Tourists and short-term visitors with dental pain, a broken tooth or a lost restoration can typically be seen on short notice — contact the office directly to describe the issue.
For visitors combining dental work with travel, treatment plans are sequenced around your itinerary where clinically appropriate, with clear guidance on what can be completed in one visit versus what requires a follow-up trip.
